The City of Clinton is seeking a dependable, safety-conscious, and experienced Water Treatment Operator who holds a valid South Carolina Water Treatment Operator license at the Class C level or higher . This position plays an essential role in protecting public health by operating and monitoring the City’s water treatment systems, conducting laboratory testing, maintaining equipment, and helping ensure compliance with applicable drinking-water standards. The selected candidate will join a team committed to safety, dependable public service, regulatory compliance, and the continuous delivery of high-quality drinking water to the Clinton community. SIGNING & RETENTION BONUS – UP TO $6,000 A qualified applicant hired into this position who possesses a valid South Carolina Class C Water Treatment Operator license or higher may be eligible for a signing and retention bonus of up to $6,000 , subject to applicable City eligibility requirements and any required bonus agreement.
